The Role of Qatar

The emirate of Qatar has been known for many years as a strong supporter of Islamist movements. Not only did Qatar provide infrastructure and facilities for organizations tied to the Global Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas, but it also supported other conservative Sunni Islamist movements. As this report documents for the first time, the scale of such Qatari "dawah" activities are much bigger than expected. Qatar Charity has ties to Global Muslim Brotherhood through Qatar Charity UK and to the Yemeni Muslim Brotherhood UK through The Emaan Trust project in the UK.
